January 5th
Night out with Highschool friends, Ces and Ice. Ate Dinner at Flaming Wings, Katipunan around 6 or 7. Ordered the original flavored Buffalo Wings with Honey Mustard dip and for dessert, their specialty and my most missed dessert- the Wicked Oreos! At last I got the chance to eat it again, it’s been a year since the last time I ate one and everytime we plan on going to Flaming Wings we always end up some place else. Actually we were supposed to eat at Bon Chon this day and grab dessert at Mom and Tina’s but we found ourselves craving for the wicked oreos so we went here instead. Ces ordered the same thing as mine but just with a different sauce while Ice ordered Chicken Parmigiana pasta. Made me crave for pasta but I can’t eat anymore since we plan on drinking after dinner. Went to Drews but the place wasn’t open so we went to Pappu’s after. Was still full so I really wasn’t it the mood to drink though Ces and I ordered a bucket to share. We just chitchatted the whole time about random stuff about the past and what exactly is up with each of us now that I totally forgot to drink my beer.haha. I just drank 1 1/2 bottle and left the other 1 1/2. Was nice catching up with Ice, sadly she had to leave around midnight. Ces and I met up with another friend after that, Melai. Went to Something Fishy to accompany her while she waited for the buffet to start and for her boyfriend to come. When Lud’s and Bik’s came, Ces and I went to Gweilos to grab some drinks since we weren’t hungry yet. Checked out people around us and talked a bit more. I still wasn’t in the zone to booze up, (damn! What a waste of time and money) Mels, Luds and Biks already was with us and I still wasn’t drinking, gave my beer to them instead. I was just there to hang out the whole night. Got hungry before going home so I invited them over to Hassan to go get something to eat first before heading home. Ordered something I never had at Hassan, just for a change and hey maybe I’d get to discover another good dish there. Ate Beef Curry Masala and it wasn’t bad at all, and the serving was more than what I expected. Right idea to skip on the normal order of Keema, Kabab or Shawarma plate. All in all, the night was fun, well except for the fact that I wasn’t in the mood to drink, but at least I got too eat a lot so yeah that’s good enough. I really love being out of work, I totaly have all the time to do all the things I like to. :]
